In this beginner’s experience, you will be taken through practices of the various Salutations or Namaskaras. You will experience how to combine breath, asana or yoga postures, and subtle meditations to cultivate the beginning stages of a vinyasa experience. You will learn to pace yourself and breath with transitions of postures, and the basic sequences that we use in the other stages of practice. This is a great way to start!

This class is fast-paced and offers an intermediate asana practice. Class focus is through unique and creative asana flow that inspires a connected state of being and is highly influenced through my learning’s with Shiva Rea. Students should know how to modify their practice accordingly and be able to practice the Namaskara’s learned in Level 1. Students should understand their alignment in Downward Dog and the standing pose family. We will explore intermediate sequences, backbends, hip opening, arm balancing, and inversions. * By instructor permission only.

We slow down the usual fast paced practice to a deep and smooth flow of asana and Namaskaras. This class has more instruction of the asana and is a great way to build up to my Level 3 vinyasa classes. Arm balances are introduced, inversions, and deeper back bending is explored. * If you are a beginner, I suggest you take several Level 1 classes before you begin this class..

Asana &
Alignment will cover the basic and in depth principles of alignment within
the practice of yoga asana (postures). Students will be introduced to basic
and intermediate postures and their modifications. Students will understand
how the use of yoga props will advance their asana practice. Classes will
consist of seated, standing, hip-opening, back bending and inversion asanas.
Class is set at a moderate to intermediate level.

This workshop is perfect for brand new students of yoga! You will learn basic yoga postures, the yogic breath, and relaxation techniques. You do not have to have any yoga experience to take this workshop. There will be a short introduction to each style of yoga our two studios teach: Yoga Basics, Basics Level Two, Slow Flow Vinyasa, and Vinyasa. When completed, you will understand which yoga class will be perfect for you! Dress in loose fitted clothing.

Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga Classes

restorative postures, with the use of yoga blankets and bolsters to fully support the
whole body. The practice of Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation/meditation technique

Prepare for Yoga Class

- It is recommended that you wear loose-fitted clothing.
- Yoga is not intended to be a workout, although it does deal with the care, health and well-being of the physical body. Though your body will feel as if it has had a work out, you are doing so much more for yourself!
- It is always recommended that you start with a beginner's class if you are new to yoga, and if you are not it is always smart to let your teacher know that you are and of any injuries or ailments you may have.
- Please bring a yoga mat and blanket or towel to class.
