These mantras are a part of one of the most sacred practices of
yoga asana practice, Surya Namaskara, or Salute to the Sun. As we
enter into a turn of seasons, or Solstice, we honor the Sun as our
source of light within, the Sun being our constant creator. Embody
this time as a time for bowing to the flow of life, as we do in
our Vinyasa practices. Our whole life is a Vinyasa or cycle, beginning
with the earth and her cycles, the seasons, our stages of life,
our daily routines, our breath, our cells ever reproducing...
In this prayer to the Sun we turn within to honor something sacred
that is in all of us, ready for us to become aware and flow back
to the rhythm that ebb and flow in us. Shiva Rea states, "The
roots of namaskar as nama-is literally "not me", implying
an inner bowing that awakens our receptive awareness to feel, to
connect, to open, to receive and absorb the miracle of life; We
place our hands in the universal symbol of prayer, connecting palms
and all fingertips to symbolize oneness with the divine."

REFLEXOLOGY - Healing Begins with Circulation
My introduction to Reflexology evolved while searching for a solution to a serious back injury to the L4, L5 and Sciatic. Through my research I would manipulate the foot reflex point associated to the low back, sciatic and neck and found these areas on my feet to be sensitive to the touch. This brought relief to my low back, sciatic and neck areas. My curiosity leads me to continue my treatments with positive results of working one area of the body to help another area. I followed with yoga for strengthening and toning. My interest accelerated my studies which lead to my practice and passion for helping others with many ailments and most importantly, encouraging my clients to listen to their body.
Reflexology is a touch therapy to areas of the hands and feet that correspond to the glands, organs and parts of the body stimulating nerve endings that send messages throughout to de-stress, re-energize and unblock pathways providing circulation which in turn speeds the healing process thus creating balance for better health. The feet and hands are a mirror of your body and you will feel and understand the benefits of Reflexology during and after a treatment.
Each client is properly assessed and provided with a 60 minute session performed to your clothing comfort level in a serene surrounding to ease the mind for proper healing.
Credentials

International Institute of Reflexology. Complimentary certifications
