This retrograde hasn’t even officially started yet and its already causing a ruckus. My son won’t sleep, my house is in chaos, and I have that overwhelming anxiety. So what do I do??? BREATHE! Find your breath, find what grounds you, smile a lot, and know it will be over soon. Once it kicks in you will all of a sudden find all the time in the world to organize your bills, get your taxes done, take a meditation class, and write in your journal. Good luck with this retrograde, get out and celebrate the full moon tonight in Virgo, my sign, but also the sing that is ruled by Mercury. Stand your ground, and love the time to become a hermit and quiet a bit!

I have been teaching yoga for 8 years, and practicing on and off my whole life it seems without knowing it was yoga. What I thought only involved being on a mat turned into the mat less universe. Now I am living my yoga, it is a way of life. How I speak, live, eat, observe, the choices I make, the way I raise my baby… it is all the dance of living my Yoga. I invite you to start this dance or continue it with me and my partner Lisa Fleming and I’s circle of hand picked instructors. Here is a sneak peak at some classes you will find on our schedule of true authentic yoga experience.

Gentle: A relaxing class to help soothe the mind and body. Experience gentle postures and breathing practices. Most of the class will be experienced seated or lying down.

Alignment: A moderately challenging class that will focus on the mechanics of strengthening, toning or stretching a certain area of the body. A lot of instruction and time will be taken in postures.

Slow Flow and Stretch: This moderate paced class that combines elements of slow flowing vinyasa and deep stretch. It is designed to strengthen the muscles and open the joints, achieving new depths in postures and an increased flow of prana.

Vinyasa: A vigorous movement class where breath and asana are linked in a rhythmic flow of awareness. Yoga experience is strongly recommended. Healthy practitioners only and Not pregnancy recommended.

Yoga Strong: A vigorous practice that will focus on strengthening the core and muscles. Challenge your mind and your body through asana and breath.

Deep Stretch: Sigh your whole body with taking several minuets to set up and relax into asanas. Enjoy the sensation of allowing the body to open and stretch slowly and consciously.

Ease Into Yoga: Tailored for our newer yogis, yogis who need to take their time or have therapeutic issues to address. Your instructors will support your every need in this class and introduce you to yoga and its practices.

He has taught me so much about yoga already. Yoga is a path of self awareness. Pantanjali teaches us Yoganas Citta Vritti Nirodaha, yoga is the stilling of the mind. To do this we must be aware, we start with posture or asana and go to the breath or pranayama and then finally to meditation or the stilling of the mind.

My son has taught me how to cultivate patience, acceptance, forgiveness *for myself when I lose my patience* and ultimately the deepest love and affection one can have. All of these are the most beneficial practices of a yogic lifestyle.
