The 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program includes Yogic Studies training as well as goes above and beyond the required Yoga Alliance minimums. Our Yogic Studies program is unique as it includes a diverse range of yoga-related topics encompassed into immersion weekends about each topic taught by Awaken Yoga teachers and special guest teachers who are experts in these subjects. In order to receive certification, you must complete the Yogic Studies Program and the 300 Hour Teacher Training Module.

Pay for the Full Program (Teacher Training & Yogic Studies) up front?

$3,150 "Early Bird Price" by March 1st, 2013.
$3,300 "Regular Price" by March 7th, 2013 (official deadline)

Please Note: if tuition is not paid by March 7th, 2013, a $100 processing fee will be charged:

Pay for the Teacher Training Module for now?

$1,900 "Early Bird Price" if paid by January 1st, 2014.
$2,100 "Regular Price" if paid by January 25th, 2014 (deadline).

Pay for the Yogic Studies Program for now?

$1,350 "Early Bird Price" if paid by February 12th, 2013.
$1,450 "Regular Price" if paid by March 1st, 2013

Awaken Yoga School - Teacher Training Refund Policy

This program is a commitment. There are no refunds 30 days prior to your training's start date. Your make-up weekends may be taken at no additional cost at a later training or yogic studies weekend up to one year. Once you have completed your training, you may drop in to any teacher training weekend or yogic studies weekend that you have already taken, at no cost to you, if you wish to review material you have already taken. New topics will incur the standard investment price.

Awaken Yoga School - Teacher Training Core Curriculum

300 Hour Teacher Training Certification includes all the content in the Yogic Studies program, plus the below curriculum:

  • Understand the practice of Yoga Asana as taught in the West
  • Learn a variety of class styles to allow you to be able to teach at a variety of studios and levels such as Begginer's Traditional Hatha Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga and more!
  • Practice safe and proper hands-on assisting in a Yoga class.
  • Absorb and use your acquired Sanskrit terminology.
  • Take instruction in the methodology of class sequencing for students with varying abilities and needs.
  • Practice teaching others in a supportive atmosphere.
  • Gain confidence in teaching basic Pranayamas, Kriyas and Meditation techniques.
  • Hone your business skills to start on your professional path as a teacher of yoga.
  • Participate in outside classroom experience, such as assisting in workshops and classes at area studios!*
  • Enjoy creative and inspiring projects that will polish your abilities as a Yoga teacher.
